Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

In the Willen section of Milton Keynes is Willen Church, the only(?) extant structure designed by Robert Hooke. The church (of St Mary Magdalene) is on a road called The Hooke.

In a nearby field is a maze constructed by Buddhist monks from an adjacent monastery, the largest turf maze in the world. [Letter from John Fauvel with photo. Pennick, pp.168- 169 & plate 20. Fisher, p.154.]
